NW Chimes is my first synth plugin. It does one thing and one thing only; generative wind chimes.

Hold any MIDI note and the wind starts blowing: chimes ring out in the chosen scale. No two hits sound the same, because each one picks its own properties at random within the ranges you set. All slider parameters have their own LFO modulation based on smooth value noise.

At the bottom you will find the sine tone partials. The bars set each partial’s level, so drawing different shapes gives the chimes different timbre, from glassy and smooth to clangy and gong-like.

1. Copy & paste NW Chimes.vst3 from the ZIP-file to your VST3 folder.
2. Launch your DAW and rescan VST3 plugins.
3. Have fun.
