NW Drift is a free, minimalist MIDI-altering VST3 plugin that applies randomness and variation to MIDI notes in real-time.
This plugin doesnt make sound by itself. Instead, it accepts MIDI input from your DAW and outputs altered MIDI notes. These can then be routed to any third-party VST plugin.
It lets you randomize the octave, interval, velocity, timing and muting of each incoming MIDI note, which creates fun, dynamic and unpredictable musical sequences.
It also has a handy Mix slider that increases or decreases the effect of all current active knobs.
2 — Launch your DAW and rescan VST3 plugins.
3 — Route MIDI into NW Drift, and out of NW Drift into your third party plugin through MIDI ports.
4 — Have fun.
